Later today I’ll be making my way to the airport to catch a flight to Guatemala City. The plans for the next nine days include the beautiful colonial city of Antigua, Lake Atitlan and Chichicastenango which hosts a large market twice a week where Maya traders gather to sell their goods.This is my first trip to Guatemala. There is nothing like seeing a new land for the first time.
Naturally there will be plenty of photographs and posts to follow. In the meantime, I’ll be posting next week so that you’ll be able to travel to the Caribbean, Europe and Southern California without the jet lag of course.
