Overlooking the square is the former Myddleton Arms built in the 16th century. It is also known as the "Seven Eyes of Ruthin" because of its seven dormer windows and Dutch style roof. What those “eyes” must have seen throughout the centuries.
The building was for sale when I was there earlier this year. Ruthin is the perfect location to stop for a pub lunch after a leisurely drive through the Welsh countryside.
